Homework Due 11/20/14
Assignment: Research both Ferguson,MO and the recent West Bank turmoil from international news sources.
Find one article on Ferguson and explain how it not only articulates the issue, but how the source is/may be different from US reporting.
Find two articles on the West Bank conflict - one from Israel and one from outside the US and Israel, and compare the two points of view on the reporting of the conflict.
Bring the three (3) articles to class with your written analysis of each.
Sources to consider:
http://america.aljazeera.com/
http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News
http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/
http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news
These are just a few. Feel free to find articles from legitimate news sources from other countries. The greater the spectrum of sources, the more interesting our conversation will be.
