3. Make a three column character chart and list the traits of each character. Direct and Indirect characterizations, values, physical appearance, desires, beliefs

4. Create a graphic organizer (your choice of how it looks) of the major conflict and the minor conflicts. YOU MUST CLEARLY SHOW HOW they are/or are not related AND HOW THEY ARE established in the characters first?

5. What TRUTHS does Walker reveal to the reader about heritage, relationships, and life in this short story?
