Antigone - Scene 2 and 3 (Due 1/27)


Remember, The Mind of _______ is Due 1/27. Draw a Graphic representation of the minds of Antigone, Ismene, Creon, AND Haimon (now that you've read his role). Your graphic should include QUOTES that represent the character through scene 3, Character Traits,  and Commentary on how these personality traits and quotes reflect their character's actions.

Ode 1

Why do you think this is sometimes titled Ode to Man? Support your answers with text,  then EXPLAIN the THEME of this passage (the message and lesson).

Scene 2 Lines 410 -430 (support answers with text AND commentary)

1. Which statement sums up Creon’s outlook and loyalty? 

2. How does Antigone’s thinking about the gods differ from Creon’s thinking?
